I know i just posted an entry... But i needed to post this too... It's a need people and plz believe me!
You know i was just wondering what the heck is wrong with people... Well no offence but i just need to bring this matter up...
Recently i was have a sisterly chat with my sister... And i was telling her some silly encounters i had in school. So we were happily laughing and laughing until my sister told me this, "Sis, you C.M.I lar!" Well she continued laughing but i stopped. I mean i know what the heck C.M.I means, but isn't that supposed to an abbreviation of 'Cannot Make It'? Isn't it supposed to be MSN language... I mean hey! What's up? I understand why you say it C.M.I when you're chatting online, but what does that have to do when you speak. I mean there's no trouble in saying it in full right? I asked my sister this and this was what she told me, "Hey it's not a big deal. This is the style now!" Wow, i didn't know there's style for the way you talk! We have abbreviations now people!!
I find this absolutely ridiculous... Nothing wrong in saying that but why not just say it in their full terms.. You know what i think? If this was to go on, everything will be in abbreviation! My sis is already used to it... "O.M.G", "C.M.I", "Hahax" and bla bla bla...
I think the cyber world has affected us a lot... Our lifestyle has already been amended due to cyber world and now the way we speak is also changing due to cyber world... I don't know if i should thank the person who introduce computers and nets or should i curse him....
