I was having a chat with Shruthi earlier and somehow we got onto a topic which, up until today, puzzle us to no end: Guys.Haha, if you people think we were actually gossiping about some good looking asshole, then you're all wrong. =) The both of us have better things to do than dreaming about some muddle headed guy who wouldn't even notice us (at least not me).Anyways, back to the topic. Guys. I have come to realise that there are two kinds of existence which outnumber the minority- the better men- in the male population when it comes to picking girls as their gf.One is the kind of guys who go for girls only for looks. And the other, are the ones who go for girls who are ideally feminine.Probably a while ago, most guys were chasing girls with good looks and body. But that trend isn't as popular as it used to be.Now, however, most guys have already changed their taste for girls. Guys nowadays go for girls who have feminine qualities.The question that all of you are probably itching to ask me would be, "What do you mean by feminine qualities?"Now what do i meant by feminine qualities?Girls who are shy and are reserved of their emotions; girls who are well mannered and soft spoken; girls who giggle with a hand over their mouth; girls who use no profanities at all; girls who sit with their legs closed and their hands on their thighs; girls who hold innocence and naivete which bring any man down to their knees; Girls who seem fragile and vulnerable- Now that is what i meant by feminine qualities.Ok, i'm not envious of any girl who has a boyfriend even though she's not physically attractive. This is just something that i have been wondering from God knows when!Most guys seem to swoon away when they are introduced to such girls. Why, is my question. Whether or not a girl is feminine, she is still a girl right? There isn't any difference between a girl who behaves with grace and a girl who doesn't, now is there??Somehow i feel that media is also to be blamed. Probably the influence of the media, the male population is being brainwashed. Just watch the drama serials. Most of them portray the heroine to be shy, sweet and soft spoken. And then the hero in the serial will begin to fall in love with her which will finally end in a blissful marriage.Why is it girls as such hold a great demand in the male population? What about girls that are independent, loud and outspoken, daring ,strong and in some cases, good looking? Are they really so bad that they're not worth a second glance?Isn't being independent and all good? I mean, she wouldn't have to cling onto you wherever you go or whatever happens. At least she can think for herself and make her own decision rather than wasting your precious time on an issue which you may think it as 'worthless' right?But still guys prefer fragile and vulnerable girls, who will actually need love assurance from them time and again to girls who can stand on their own feet and fight against almost everything.Funny how the puny brain of guys work!
